Ah, my first post! This feels kind of nice actually. I'm home from school today, I'm having severe back pain and I missed the bus. It really hurts!
Either way, in this blog I'm going to be recording my efforts to learn Korean, so I can look back when I achieve fluency, and undoubtedly, laugh at myself. I've been learning for oh, a couple months? I'm not totally sure. I can carry simple conversations, and I mean simple. I might ask someone what they like to do, and not know what they say in return and simple say 천 더요! (Me too)
My newest attempt involves language partners, which is good. I added seven, yesterday, I think? Two of them responded. I haven't spoken verbally to them yet, but I know it'll go better than typing! I can't spell in Korean to save my life. Speaking, I'm okay--- typing/writing/everything else I'm sort of like ehh...
But I'm excited to talk to them both very soon and show off at least a little bit!
I've been writing down every korean phrase I could ever possibly use too, and I make monologues with cute little drama characters I made up. Maybe I'll make comics or something with them and upload them here. That'd be cute, right?
Also, thinking about getting a tumblr! I don't think I'd use it much but... I may as well try.
